“My goal is simple: help people get out of pain and get back to doing what they love, without pain running their lives.”
It’s a simple philosophy, but one that guides everything Dr. Sunit Jolly does at M5 Chiropractic in Braintree.

Inside her welcoming practice, Dr. Jolly moves comfortably around the treatment table, talking with a patient while carefully evaluating their posture and movement. For many people who walk through her door, the goal is simple: find real relief and start feeling like themselves again.
That mission is exactly what inspired Dr. Jolly to open her practice in the community she already calls home.

“I have lots of local ties here,” she says. “My kids grew up here and play all sorts of local sports — hockey, volleyball, and more. Being able to work close to home instead of commuting into Boston made a big difference. But more than that, it really comes down to feeling like this is where I should be within the community.”
That community connection is something patients immediately notice when they walk into M5 Chiropractic. Dr. Jolly’s welcoming personality and genuine care for her patients help create an environment where people feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
A Passion for Helping People Feel Better
Dr. Jolly’s journey into chiropractic care started long before she opened her own practice.
“Since I was young, I saw my mother in so much back pain,” she says. “That experience really pulled me toward wanting to help people relieve their pain.”

“I offer personalized treatment plans for each patient and their specific issues,” she says. “My goal is to help people get back to doing what they want to do without even thinking about their pain anymore.”
Helping Everyday People Get Back to What They Love
While chiropractic care is often associated with athletes, Dr. Jolly says her patient base is incredibly diverse. “Honestly, it’s everyday people,” she says. “People who can’t sleep through the night, people working on laptops and phones all day, families, athletes, expectant mothers — it’s really everyone.”
Common issues she treats include back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches, shoulder pain, hip pain, herniated discs, nerve issues, jaw soreness, and even teeth grinding.

“I take the time to really listen and figure out what’s actually causing the problem, so we’re not just chasing symptoms.” I really enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them feel like themselves again.
Clearing Up Misconceptions About Chiropractic Care
For some people, the idea of visiting a chiropractor can feel intimidating — often because of things they’ve seen online.

“A lot of what you see on TikTok or YouTube isn’t a great representation of what we actually do,”
Dr. Jolly says with a laugh.
“I can almost hear you thinking, ‘Is this going to hurt?’ The answer is no, it’s designed to help, not hurt.”
Most first visits focus on evaluating a patient’s concerns and creating a plan together.
“Your first visit is an evaluation,” she explains.
“We take time to talk about what’s bothering you, what might be causing it, and most importantly, we focus on finding the real root of the problem, not just treating symptoms. Once we understand that, we work together to build a personalized roadmap to get you where you want to be. And if someone decides it’s not the right fit, that’s completely okay, they’re not locked into anything.”
Most patients leave their first visit with something they didn’t have before: clarity about what’s causing their pain and a clear plan to fix it.
Many are surprised to find the visit is gentle and comfortable.
“Just having real answers can be a huge weight off someone’s shoulders,” she says.
One of the most rewarding parts of her work is hearing how much better patients feel after treatment.
“My favorite thing is when someone tells me, ‘I slept through the entire night.’ And then they say, ‘I wish I came to see you sooner.”

Movement is the Best Medicine
Many of the issues Dr. Jolly sees today stem from modern lifestyles that involve long hours sitting and staring at screens. “We’re definitely seeing more posture-related problems with people working on computers all day,” she says.
Her advice is simple.
“You need more movement,” she says. “It doesn’t have to be the gym — just get outside and move. Movement is the best medicine.” She also notes that diet and overall lifestyle can sometimes play a role in how the body responds to pain and inflammation.

Opening a Business in Braintree
Dr. Jolly says the support she has received since opening M5 Chiropractic has been incredibly positive.
“Everyone in Braintree has been amazing and so supportive,” she says. “The people here really make you feel welcome. I’m so grateful to be part of this community.”

Operating in a community served by a municipal electric utility has also been a welcome benefit.
“I pay BELD’s electric bill directly, and I must tell you — I had heard the rates were great, but now that I’m running a business here, I really notice the difference,” she says. “Thank you BELD — it really helps with the costs of running a business.”
Her advice for other entrepreneurs considering Braintree? “Braintree is open for business,” she says. “And with BELD’s great rates, you can’t go wrong.”
Life Outside the Office
When she’s not helping patients feel better, Dr. Jolly spends most of her time cheering on her children at local sporting events.
“All my time is spent with my kids,” she says with a smile. “They’re all involved in local sports and I’m always there supporting them.”
She’s even taken up a new sport herself.
“I actually started playing ice hockey later in life,” she says with a laugh. “My kids were playing and I wanted to join them, so I put on some skates and learned. I love it.”

Thinking About Chiropractic Care?
For people who have been thinking about chiropractic care but haven’t taken that first step yet, Dr. Jolly has simple advice. “I get that it’s not always easy to take that first step, but you don’t have to live with pain. When you’re ready, I’m here to help.”
“Most people say the same thing after their first visit:
‘Why did I wait?’”
