A Different Kind of Doctor’s Office
In a healthcare system that often feels rushed and impersonal, Dr. Mike Tremblay is focused on something simple: caring for people.
Walk into Action Medicine and
you notice something pretty
quickly: this doesn’t feel like
a typical doctor’s office.
There’s no crowded waiting room. No rushed conversations. And, according to Dr. Mike Tremblay, that’s exactly the point.
“It’s not the medicine,” he says. “It’s the people.”

It’s Personal — For Patients and Their Families
Stephen York has been a patient of Dr. Tremblay’s for approximately 35 years. When Tremblay transitioned to the Action Medicine model, York didn’t just make the
change himself — he brought his mother along, too.
For York, it was about more than easier
access to appointments. It was about a
relationship built over decades.
When his mother passed away, members of the Action Medicine team attended the wake and funeral and even visited the family at home.

“How can you walk away from that?”
York asked.
That simple question may say more about the relationship between a doctor and his patients than any explanation of the practice model ever could.
For Tremblay, caring for patients means being there when they need medical care — but also recognizing that sometimes, it’s about simply being there.

A Different Kind of Practice
Dr. Tremblay opened Action Medicine to practice healthcare the
way he always believed it should be.
By choosing a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, he stepped away from the limitations of insurance-driven care and built a practice where he can spend more time with each patient—listening, explaining and truly getting to know the person, not just the chart.

More Time. More Personal Attention.
Patients at Action Medicine have direct access to their doctor—whether that’s a same-day appointment, a phone call or a quick message. Annual visits are longer and unhurried, giving Dr. Tremblay time to talk through health concerns, answer questions and focus on prevention.
It’s healthcare built around relationships, not quotas.
“Knowing the Patient, Not Just the Chart”
From routine checkups to managing chronic conditions, Dr. Tremblay cares for the whole person.
He gets to know his patients—their families, their needs, their stories. That familiarity leads to better care and stronger outcomes.

Care for the Whole Family
That personal approach extends to every generation. Whether it’s a child’s first visit or ongoing care for adults, families know they’ll be treated with the time, respect and attention they deserve.

A Familiar Face at Action Medicine
Kelsey Walsh is one of the familiar faces who helps make Action Medicine feel different — personal, welcoming, and focused on the patient.

Building a Practice That Lasts
Dr. Tremblay isn’t looking to build the biggest practice in the area. He’s looking to build one that lasts.
His long-term plan is to eventually bring a younger physician into the practice who can carry the model forward after he retires.
Because for Dr. Tremblay, the future of Action Medicine isn’t really about building a bigger practice.
It’s about making sure the people who count on it are still taken care of.

The Mission Is Simple
That’s Action Medicine.
Provide high-quality, personal healthcare in a way that
respects your time, your story and your well-being.
That’s the difference.
When He’s Not Seeing Patients
Outside the office, Dr. Tremblay still likes to work with his hands. He does his own yard work and gardening, takes on electrical and plumbing projects, and spends time woodworking.
It’s a different kind of problem-solving than medicine, but there’s a familiar satisfaction in figuring something out, working through the details and creating something from scratch.
His woodworking has even found its way into the Action Medicine office, where some of his creations are on display.
